My Brain says "Stop Overworking" but Heart says "Keep Going"

My Brain says "Stop Overworking" but Heart says "Keep Going"

  Last week, I had a hectic journey (7 flights & 4 days; around 29 hours of flying). Finally, landed safely at Mandalay airport but real trouble starts now. Got headache; soar throat, body pain and fever.

  The above experience motivated me of writing this piece of blog/article. My brain always says and requests to me: "Dr Sinha, please stop overworking" but my heart says: "Dr Sinha, never stop working, continuous work is your life". My heart knows that I love working; love helping others in learning and research based activities. It says that working keeps me happy and I too feel that whenever I am engaged with huge number of activities, related to teaching, research and other quality improvement initiatives; I get immense happiness.

 But, my brain is jealous to me and says that I am a physical entity like any other machines and thus I need to take rest, particularly my brain always asks me for more rest but I seldom allow it for enough resting time. Thus, my brain always complains me of overload and sometimes creates problems for me, such as headache; body pain; fever; high sugar by default...

 I make my heart understand but my heart is great (Heart hai ki manta nahi), it never listens to anyone. I am so inspired by my heart and I too only prefer to listen it and simply obey. The arguments of my heart include:
1. If you continue working, you will be able to do more and more for the society and mankind;
2. If you continue working, you will be busy in only constructive works; and
3. It will never allow you for other distracting things like all unwanted traits

So, I finally listen to my heart and keep working! I love Learning and I Love Working! This makes my morale always very high and keep me Enjoying!!
