Honesty is so simple to practice!

Honesty is so simple to practice!

We come across a popular statement as quotation: "honesty is the best policy". Is really honesty best policy, if yes, corrupt practices would have been stopped now that would help in eradicating poverty form the whole world.
I do not know if honesty is the best policy or not! but I have realized in number of occasions and times that honesty is very simple to practice!
One recent experience I would like to share here which is eyeopening for all of us. We can practice the honesty in a simple manner so that others could understand and start observing.
People here in Mandalay (or whole Myanmar, I believe) are fond of cold drinks and they like coca-coal or similar cold drinks very much. In my institute, I do see two big refrigerators full of cold drink bottles, cans; and by the end of day the refrigerators almost go empty. I have seen students taking cold drinks from the refrigerators since it is not locked; and MOST importantly they put money there in a box. No one is there to see if they are depositing money or not. I am told that whatever they take, the price of the cold drink the students put their in a box. I have seen the money at the time of leaving from the institute; that box is full of money.
This example is really eyeopening for all and very praiseworthy. The honesty is not talked about here, not even preached about, but they practice rather.
Actually, honesty is that human value that can not be measured, but it can be practiced and realized too! I am very realizing the "honesty being practiced in simple and humble manner".
This inspires all of us for becoming honest in in all our activities, work, deeds and everything we do and come across. What a brilliant example of honest practices and honest people here in Mandalay.
Therefore, I thought of writing this blog, with subject line: Honesty is so simple to practice!
