No one Can Humiliate us Except Ourselves

No one Can Humiliate us Except Ourselves     A s I do keep reading every day little about Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counselor of  Myanmar, I got across extensive interview of Her Excellency in the form of "Voice of Burma".  The detailed interview has been divided into several small parts as separate chapters. I do read about her since her story, interview and contribution just fascinate me of reading more about Her Excellency. With due regards to Madam her Excellency I thought of writing this blog using very important message and inspiration that encouraged me penning down for my readers, friends and well-wishers.    One of the chapter is entitled (named) as "No one Can Humiliate us but We Ourselves".  Actually, this phrase "No One Can Humiliate but Myself", carries Immense Importance to me and I feel that this very phrase applies to Everyone's life. I would say that this sentence Can Greatly keep one highly inspi

Daughter-in-Love replacing Daughter-in-Law: Great Idea towards Bonding Relationship!

Daughter-in-Love replacing Daughter-in-Law: Great Idea towards Bonding Relationship!     The heading of this blog is very interesting. The idea of writing under this heading came into my mind when I read "Happy Street" by Dr Rekha Shetty. The eminent author has very peculiarly used this term "daughter-in-love" for daughter-in-law.   The concept is innovative and all credit goes to the author of the book. Several times, we get across the news related to adverse relationships between daughters-in-laws with their mothers-in-law. Imagine! if all mothers-in-law accept their daughters-in-law as daughters-in-love;  there would be tremendous change in interpersonal relationship. Let us expand this approach to: 1. Daughters-in-love actually deserve much love and affection than that of real daughters because daughters-in-love do sacrifice a lot and even sacrifice their own house (generally it happens in India and in many other countries) and therefore, daughters wh

I wish that I can fly with her!...An Unpublished Story

I wish that I can fly with her!... An Unpublished Story       I hail from a typical village, located in forest area where main source of income and livelihood of the people is agriculture or agriculture based labor work. Synergizing with almost ninety percent of my village, called Bhithidih , my parents too used to go to others fields for various works related to agriculture. They used to start from our “ kachha ghar” before sunrise and come back to home not earlier than sunset. This background always helped me in getting me inspired; made my morale very high; encouraged me to do honest and dedicated work howsoever the work is; strengthened me towards achieving my goals in life.  I remember the horrible sunny days during summer, my mother used to go to forest to collect “t endu leaves ”, the leaves that are used to make “ bidis ” (as good as cigarette for rural and sub-urban poor folk). She started early in the morning and used to come back by 2 PM. She never had privilege having

I am nothing without Swami Vivekananda!

I am nothing without Swami Vivekananda!  My Ideal    Yes, I just want to share you that I am nothing without Swami Vivekananda. I am writing this blog to pay my reverence to Revered Swami Vivekananda Ji on great birth day of Swamiji, 12th January. In fact, India celebrates  this great day as "National Youth Day"every year to encourage all the young minds to follow the principles of Swami Vivekananda in all the endeavors of youth. Swami Vivekananda is considered as the great source of inspiration for youth.  Swamiji is everything in my life! Why I am nothing without him, here it goes:    My school studies could have been stopped after 8th standard due to inability to afford the expenses by my great parents, but it continued, because of my teacher who is not less than God for me. He took up the task of my grooming and further studies. He does not like to be named and hence I am not writing his full name, but I am just writing his initials Shri B P Verma. What in

Swami Vivekananda's Views about Lord Buddha

Swami Vivekananda's Views about Lord Buddha   Every year, 12 th January is celebrated as National Youth Day in India commemorating birth anniversary of Revered Swami Vivekananda. The greatness of Swami Vivekananda could be understood what he thought about others, especially regards to others. This article presents a tribute to Great Swami with Swami Ji’s views about Lord Buddha.  Swami Vivekananda says in his lectures------When Buddha was born, India was in great need of spiritual leader like him. I have been very fond of Buddha and great reverence to him due to his boldness, fearlessness and tremendous love. Great Buddha was born for seeking truth only for welfare of common masses. He never had thought of himself in his spiritual life journey. Swami Vivekananda always saw Buddha as reformer of Hinduism and Vedantist also because he started new sect and ideas known as Buddhism. He was great Indian philosopher and never recognized caste.     Swami Vivekananda delivered seve

Rivers do not Reverse!!

Rivers Do Not Reverse!!!   Nature helps us learning everything that we want to learn. In fact, the great Nature can help every living entity in the universe in lifelong learning.   Rivers do not Reverse! How brilliant is the heading of this post. Rivers indicate progressive thoughts and progressive mindset that just goes ahead and ahead; finding its own optimum path without distributing anyone in the journey.    This mammoth example tells us that we should not go against our basic nature; that is inherently based on spirituality, honesty, respect, simplicity and many other characteristics that a person or any living object learns while in womb itself or through mothers.   The greatest among all humankind, none other than mothers never teach inappropriate values to their children. So, the very foundation of individual personality is based on great values of humankind and humanity. But the billion dollar question is: do we think rather contemplate upon those great values; of co
